I create bespoke websites, that are beautifully designed and expertly crafted.
About me
I started as a print designer in 2001 after studying typographic design in London. I worked as print designer for 2 years while teaching myself web development, creating websites in flash. After a few years I'd taught myself HTML, CSS and enough JQuery to transition to web design and development fulltime.
I specialise in the whole process, from concepting, UX, design and development. After nearly 2 decades designing and building websites, being skilled in both design and development gives me the advantage of making informed design decisions. Over the years I have built up a large and varied skillset that makes me a very versitile all rounder.
Outside of work, I've got a lot of hobbies. I love to ride my motorcycle, I learned to ride last year at the Yamaha school in Bangkok. I love to travel, to find intresting coffee shops, markets and places to eat around Bangkok and Thailand with my wife and dog 😭 (miss you Gub). I love photography, 3D vis and I have converted 2 vans in to campervans!

Photography
Photography is my favorite hobby, I bought a Ricoh GRIIIX in December 2022 and it's by far my favourite piece of tech. A full DSLR camera but with a fixed 40mm lens, and it's smaller than my iPhone. I carry it around everywhere, living in Thailand, means that there is a visual feast of places and things to photograph. I'm not very good, but that doesn't put me off! See moreVan converisons
In early 2017, after seeing countless videos, instagram and pinterest boards my wife and myself decided we wanted to buy a second hand van and try to convert into into a campervan. With my D.I.Y experience at level IKEA, I decided to jump in headfirst and take on the challenge. Learning everything as I went along from the University of YouTube, I managed to finish our first van in just on 4 months working on it every weekend. It had a 300 watt solar panel and split relay powering our lighting and water pump and a small gas stove. The seating and table converted into a small double bed. After a year of trips around the UK, we decided we wanted something bigger, something we could stand up in, more comfortable and suitable for longer trips.
Van 2.0
Van 2.0 was a lot more of a challenge, but the experience I gained building the first van made me a lot more confident I could do this one. This van was a high roof, long wheel base. It had a full size shower and toilet, 70 litre water tank and 30 litre grey water tank under the van, a full size fixed double bed, gas stove, hot water, air heater, plug-in 240v electrics, solar panel and split relay, so we were fully off grid and could go anywhere. This took me a lot longer to build, nearly 18 months every weekend, in rain and snow! but it was worth it. We spent 6 weeks driving around Europe, stopping in Bruggee, holland and Germany and the whole of the black forest, it was an amazing trip. We also did the North 500 in Scotland and many stops around the UK too. Before leaving to come to Thailand it sold on eBay in under 24 hours of listing it!
I instagramed both builds, if you're interested take a look 😊
